WebcamMax 5.1.2.6 is a webcam utility for Windows computers. The application allows you to add several effects to your webcam image. You can then use those effects with any instant messenger. Since you are modifying the webcam feed itself, the image will be the same on every messenger. You modify it directly from the application, and not the messenger window. There are many effects that can be added. The most amusing ones are the masks. WebcamMax has face detection technology, which allows the application to determine where your face, eyes, mouth, nose, ears, are. Thus, WebcamMax can replace your face with someone else's or display an image of a cat or a dog over your face and follow its movement through the screen. It looks really impressive. There are a couple of masks preloaded. You can choose to be David Bechkam, Brad Pitt, or even Michael from Prison Break. Of course, anyone can tell that you are not them. There are lots of other effects. You can add backgrounds, text and emoticons. And you can drag those elements around. |
